Subject: how to connect devices with bluetoothd

Hi folks,

I thought I posted this but maybe not.

Apologies if you got this already.

I just upgraded to the latest Mythbuntu, which comes with bluetoothd
instead of the old daemons.

I used to use hidd --connect to pair my keyboard/mouse with the
computer, but that no longer works.

Is there a new way to pair devices to the controller?

I verified via lsusb that I can see the bluetooth dongle, I just can't
seem to get the keyboard/mouse to connect using the old technique
(power cycle mouse, hidd --connect while pressing pairing button,
etc.)

Actually, I just got it to work once.

I ran hcitool scan to get the MAC (?) addresses, then ran hidd --connect MAC.

However, after reboot, they were no longer recognized by the computer
and hcitool scan gave an error saying the Inquiry timed out.

Is there any trick I'm missing?
