It has a crippled NFSRDMA port someone did that you definitely don't want to install. It should not be installed by default so, if you select open 2 (HPC), you should be ok. 2. The install is dependent on the running kernel, so you'll want to install it with the test kernel running. 3. I _think_ this thing will overwrite your test kernel's drivers, so you may need to redo 'make modules_install' after installing OFED. I do anyway. Feel free to ping me if you run into trouble.
