And what if your music is not > mp3 encoded, say ogg? Yep, but Fabien probably mean that we gain more flexibility by having some native elements on gstreamer, and I agree with that. One of the problems that Im afraid of is the plugin having to handle encoding/decoding by it own when we could just use a framework to do that for us. Because that I think it would be good to have a set of elements on gstreamer(btaudiosrc, btaudiosink...)
