Tried to get 2.6.9 compiling under powerpc with GCC 2.95, but found that a lot of the PPC arch source will only compile under GCC 3.3.x System compiler on Debian Sarge (my laptop ) is GCC 3.3.4. Will get on with getting the problems traced tonight, and find where things are going wrong hopefully. Should have a patch after this weekend.
