Sender: bluez-users-admin@lists.sourceforge.net Errors-To: bluez-users-admin@lists.sourceforge.net Reply-To: bluez-users@lists.sourceforge.net List-Unsubscribe: , List-Id: BlueZ users List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , List-Archive: Date: Fri, 16 Sep 2005 22:08:30 +0200 Hi this is probably one of the trivial questions for the master geeks here, but I have browsed the net for a couple of days, trying lots of different configurations, pulled my hair out, prayed to all the gods that I know of, but still I can't get my palm tungsten T2 to connect to my pc running debian. I have followed (amongst others) this description : http://www.toobusyto.org.uk/tech/tungsten_linux.html All I get in the end is this error on my palm "Error: Serial: timeout. Could be a bad cable or faulty modem. (0x0305)". I have tried debugging, logging, etc. no pointers whatsoever to what could be wrong. I know my bluetooth is up and running on my debian box, I can make a scan for other devices, I can even stream audio to my motorola stereo headsets now (using a2play). But no connection for that dam palm thing.. And others have it up and running.. Is there anything in the above mentioned guide, that doesn't comply with the current implementation of the stuff? Anything that has to be done differently? Btw. my BT dongle is a CSR BC3-MM based class 1 device. Any inputs are very much appreciated!!!!
