For instance, whe= n transmitting a 40kb file from my linux system using bluez the file will t= ake several seconds to transfer from acceptance of the invitation, however,= when using the same hardware on my windows box, it will transfer almost im= mediately, with no noticeable delay, this speed difference becomes even mor= e apparent when dealing with larger files. =20 I'm sure i've read in the past this is quite common when using the linux st= acks, is that right? is there any way to make a marked improvement? I'm run= ning bluetooth 2 with EDR capabilities, on a CSR chip. =20 Thanks guys, =20 Rob _________________________________________________________________ Try Live.com - your fast, personalised homepage with all the things you car= e about in one place. http://www.live.com/?mkt=3Den-gb = --_a34733c1-ab8f-4a68-b92b-28f79e70ec13_ Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Hello Guys,

I'm running Bluez 3.12 and doing a little bit of file transfer over OBEX pu= sh and seem to get considerably lower transmission speeds than when i'm tra= nsmitting from my windows system using the windows stack.

I'm sure i've read in the past this is quite common when using the lin= ux stacks, is that right? is there any way to make a marked improvement? I'= m running bluetooth 2 with EDR capabilities, on a CSR chip.

Thanks guys,

Rob
