From: Richard Purdie Subject: [PATCH 4/5] jffs2: Add a "favourlzo" compression mode to jffs2 Date: Wed, 28 Feb 2007 19:13:48 +0000 Message-ID: <1172690028.16062.142.camel@localhost.localdomain> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Cc: linux-mtd , linux-crypto@vger.kernel.org To: LKML , David Woodhouse , herbert@gondor.apana.org.au Return-path: List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , Sender: linux-mtd-bounces@lists.infradead.org Errors-To: linux-mtd-bounces+gldm-linux-mtd-36=gmane.org+gldm-linux-mtd-36=gmane.org@lists.infradead.org List-Id: linux-crypto.vger.kernel.org Add a "favourlzo" compression mode to jffs2 which tries to optimise by size but gives lzo an advantage when comparing sizes. This means the faster lzo algorithm can be preferred when there isn't much difference in compressed size (the exact threshold can be changed).
