From: Theodore Ts'o Subject: [PATCH 1/8] ext4: move ext4_forget() to ext4_jbd2.c Date: Sun, 22 Nov 2009 21:18:23 -0500 Message-ID: <1258942710-31930-2-git-send-email-tytso@mit.edu> References: <1258942710-31930-1-git-send-email-tytso@mit.edu> Cc: Theodore Ts'o To: Ext4 Developers List Return-path: Received: from thunk.org ([69.25.196.29]:48716 "EHLO thunker.thunk.org" rhost-flags-OK-OK-OK-OK) by vger.kernel.org with ESMTP id S1756116AbZKWCS3 (ORCPT ); Sun, 22 Nov 2009 21:18:29 -0500 In-Reply-To: <1258942710-31930-1-git-send-email-tytso@mit.edu> Sender: linux-ext4-owner@vger.kernel.org List-ID: The ext4_forget() function better belongs in ext4_jbd2.c. This will allow us to do some cleanup of the ext4_journal_revoke() and ext4_journal_forget() functions, as well as giving us better error reporting since we can report the caller of ext4_forget() when things go wrong.
