Not sure about the patch.
With patch applied, after testing and installing glibc I see plenty of tmp
files left in /tmp:
-rw------- 1 root root 0 Jan 24 18:56 tst-atime.HiK5Qd

-rw------- 1 root root 0 Jan 24 19:07 cc3s3qwc.c

-rw------- 1 root root 0 Jan 24 19:07 cckbLeAj.le
I don't remember to see them without patch applied.
Also, when rebooting I see this error:
Unmounting all other currently mounted file systems...
umount: /: device is busy.
(In some cases useful info about processes that use
the device is found by lsof(8) or fuser(1))
Very odd...
