Hope this was ok. The client log should stop right after the error, because I executed this on the client: tcpdump -s 9000 -w host curry & while runlevel /boot/utmp; do true; done; killall tcpdump and started the second loop in another window which caused this first loop to fail and stop the tcpdump...
