To: linux-wireless@vger.kernel.org MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII Message-ID: <371947.67660.qm@web33501.mail.mud.yahoo.com> (sfid-20071006_001801_905033_DC17BAAF) Sender: linux-wireless-owner@vger.kernel.org List-ID: I'm working on a project where we need to use a USB wifi adapter in ad-hoc mode. We've been struggling with this. Is there a 'standard' known solid way to do this? What products and/or chipsets and Linux drivers should we be looking at? We're trying the zd1211 with the zd1211rw driver and the mac80211 stack, which doesn't seem to have ad-hoc support currently, but their web site says it should be easy to add. Any suggestions would be *greatly* appreciated! We are a bit stuck on this. Thanks in advance, Greg Johnson ____________________________________________________________________________________ Take the Internet to Go: Yahoo!Go puts the Internet in your pocket: mail, news, photos & more. http://mobile.yahoo.com/go?refer=1GNXIC
