It's the same Prism chipset, just connected to the host system in a different way. I don't think it's doing anything differently on the wireless side. Sure enough, there are some knobs to dumb it down, but probably not to the SoftMAC level. I don't think it was tried, and I don't think it's worth trying. -- Regards, Pavel Roskin
