They do not make a difference. Actually, that is not surprising, because the first patch relates to 802.11n but I am using 802.11g, and the second patch has to do with switching networks, but I am coming up cold on this network. I should receive some USB dongles with different chipsets tomorrow. Hopefully one of them will be better behaved. But if there is more data I can gather to help figure this out, I am happy to do so.
