I used "make drivers/net/wireless/broadcom/brcm80211/brcmfmac/", which didn't pick up subdir-ccflags-$(CONFIG_BRCMDBG) += -DDEBUG in drivers/net/wireless/broadcom/brcm80211/Makefile It builds fine with doing a normal build.
