I tried several different AR9462 cards in a completely different laptop running MS Windows 10 (Privacy Invasion Edition) with the exact same results. Conclusion: Atheros is complete crap. Can anyone recommend a dual-band adapter that ACTUALLY WORKS in linux with an open driver and without proprietary firmware (M.2 NGFF format A keyed or A-E keyed)?
