Any ideas why Linux 2.4.19, 2.4.20-rc1 and -rc1-ac1 with megaraid
driver from http://www.domsch.com/linux/megaraid/ detects four CPUs,
when olny two are on board ?

Because
1) it has two hyperthreaded Xeon processors, each of which contains
two logical CPUs, and
2) you didn't disable hyperthreading in the BIOS.
Sigh. This is becoming a FAQ...
