The following oddity needs a fixup to properly interact with PG_compound.
It's trying to partially free "unused" pieces of a higher-order page.
OTOH, who knows if this thing even compiles anymore.

This kernel seems to hang after mounting the root filesystem (in my case
xfs) readonly, ie right before starting init. Is a fix for this ready or
in the works?

Strange, cross checked with entry.S for 2.6.4-mm1 and 2.6.5-rc1 and they
all seem to be the same in the lines complained about.
