I have an ABIT VP6 (YT bios) with dual p3-1Ghz and 1Gb SDRAM. I have my boot
disk (hda) and my CDROM (hdc) connected to the VIA controller. My /home disk
(hdi) and my CDRW (hdk) are connected to the onboard HPT370 controller. I
also have a Promise ULTRA66 in the box but its currently empty. I have no
problems except, sometimes when i go to burn a CD, the proccess fails midway
(therefore ruining the CDR) and more often than not these messages are in the
logs:
Oct 14 19:32:58 thor kernel: ide-scsi: CoD != 0 in idescsi_pc_intr
Oct 14 19:32:58 thor kernel: hdk: ATAPI reset complete
Does anybody know whats going on ?

I vote that you swap the cable positions of the CD-ROM and CD-RW.
By the way.. It's not safe to trust an ABIT board with that much memory. :)
