Hi,
apologies for supplying an oops for an "old" kernel. I've been using
2.4.12-ac3 with Robert Love's preempt-kernel-rml-2.4.12-ac3-1.patch for
some time. Tonight the box locked up hard while I was surfing
(on a ppp
dialup), just after I closed an xterm. Oops extracted from the log, it
was interspersed with ^B^A and ^BQ characters like this (some lines
removed)

Since this hasn't hit me before, it might be that later releases have
already fixed the problem, and equally I can't offer to recreate it to
test a fix. Output from ksymoops attached, although I'm a little worried
about the ksymoops warnings from the tulip and various audio modules -
do I need to worry about these warnings ?
Other information (.config, whatever) available on request.

Bug in handling exported bss symbols in modules. Fixed in ksymoops 2.4.2.
