I just upgraded from 2.4.19-pre5 to 2.4.19-pre7-ac1 and now my
Logitech TrackMan Marble Wheel USB pointing device no longer
works. This despite the fact that the syslog looks OK (see below).
The problem also afflicts 2.4.19-pre7-ac2.
I didn't have this problem with 2.4.19-pre5 or 2.4.19-pre2-ac4.

The mouse doesn't work on 2.4.19-pre7 either.
I reconfirmed that it does work on 2.4.19-pre5.

You don't have CONFIG_USB_HIDINPUT set, which you need to do. You did
read the help for it when doing 'make oldconfig', right? :)
