My name is Nuno Gomes anda i'm writting from Portugal.
I=B4m trying to develop a program to control several bluetooth devices
from a central pc.
My question is: how can I set a inquiry mode on my bluetooth dongle so
my central application just responds to the inquirys made by the
bluetooth devices and in the same time get the information from the
devices.
I know that if I do the inquiry I can get all the information from the
devices, but I need to just respond to the inquirys because of energy
issues.

This is not possible. An inquiring device doesn't transmit its
address or name during an inquiry, and the specification does not
provide any events that fire when responding to an inquiry.
