I've just started to test the use of the fsid option, however it is not
documented in the exports man page.
Also, there is no warning if you give a fsid greater than 65535 - as
fsid is not documented, there is nothing to to say this value has to be
an unsigned short ...
I've knocked up a quick patch that may be suitable ...
