Subject: NTFS R/W safe with mount 'ro' ?

Hi all!

I just noticed that one of the major distros ships their kernel with
NTFS write support turned on. Using such a kernel, am I still safe if I
mount my NTFS partition 'ro'?

TIA,
Peter
