This has been confusing me lately, does nvidia produce a card with IDE ?
(similarily to some of creative labs' soundblasters ?)

nForce/nForce2 are complete motherboard chipsets.

Nvidia produces an entire chipset (the nforce and nforce2 chipsets)
which have IDE on them as well as a number of other things.

Onboard IDE on the Nvidia nForce and nForce 2 chipset. Seems to be a clone
of the AMD one (or vice versa perhaps ?).
