I was happy to see that I might not get bit with scheduling_while_atomic
so I got 2.5.74 and built away (after saving a few files from / as
2.5.73 ate / (three times,...I tried modifying the build script and a
few other things). 2.5.74 didn't eat anything, but it did stall.
What I got was:
Enabling unmasked SIMD FPU exception support... done.
Checking 'hlt' instruction... OK.
POSIC conformance testing by UNIFIX

...and that's all folks. Any ideas on why it is stalling on/after ACPI?
My ACPI is set to suspend to standby (in my BIOS).
The ACPI section of my build script is:
