Subject: 2.6.9-rc2-mm1 - keyboard error

On x86-64 I get this message during boot:
"i8042.c: Can't read CTR while initializing i8042."
and the keyboard goes dead.

Mainline 2.6.9-rc2 works with the same config (attached).
