I didn't expect these patches to be accepted as is actually.
There isn't _that_ much difference between sending a 200KB
patch file and what I sent. Nail could use the ability to
add a threading header though.

On a technical side, there is a difference. 200 KB + 3 KB mail header =
203 KB. 550 mails each 3 KB = 1650 KB. Quite some `fun' for users with
slower lines. (I was one of them not too long ago.)
