How do i see the kernel messages ( which one usually
sees with dmesg during normal run ) while installtion
is going on.
You can see some with "CTRL-ALT-F4", but only limited,
and once you switch - it's only the last handful.

It depends on the distribution you are installing, check the respective
docs.
