Subject: SMART IDE drives

hi

I've seen the /proc/ide/ide./hd./smart_(thresholds|values) files in 2.4,
and I just wonder... Are there any available software to check these? Does
the kernel do it, or is that some future project.

please cc: to me as I'm not on the list
