Subject: Problems with Compaq WL200 wireless card

Hi folks,

I have some problems with the Compaq WL200 wireless card. The Compaq
WL200 is actually a prism2 based pcmcia card on a Cirrus Logic PD6927
PCMCIA<->PCI bridge. The problem is as following:

Whenever the card is present the system will hard lockup whenever any
heavy I/O on the scsi subsystem (AIC7890) is done. It will always lockup
after around 500 megabytes of data is written (dd if=/dev/zero of=testfile).
It generates a oops of which i have 2 different dumps available. 1
without the prism2 (the hostap driver version 2002-04-10) and i82356 driver
(from pcmcia-cs 3.1.33) (oops-1) and one with them loaded (oops-2). The
system itself is a Celeron 400 on a P2B-S (i440BX based) motherboard
(with BIOS 1014Beta1)

I have been having these problems for quite some while ago on a variety
of kernels ranging from 2.4.9 -> 2.4.19-pre5-ac3

I have included the 2 ksymoops analyzed oopses, output of lspci -vvvxx
(with and without the PCI card) kernel-configuration and /proc/scsi/scsi
contents.
