happens always that the us.kernel.org mirror isn't up to date when you
send patches. I think It'd be better to set the URL to http://www.kernel.org,
although mirrors are there for something......

The url works fine for several, if not most, of the http://www.us.kernel.org
mirrors.

Yes, it works with some of the us.kernel.org mirrors, but obviously rather
sporadically. This leads to the following situations:
1. I see the link, press enter and get HTTP/1.1 404 Not found.
2. I see the link, press enter, get the directory, want to download, get a
404.
