Hi,

The URL in linux-2.0/Documentation/Changes:175 is outdated. Does anyone
still have this version of the libc? I can't currently find it, so I'd
like to have it on some ftp server.

See ftp://ftp.win.tue.nl/pub/linux-local/libc.archive/libcbin/libc.so.4.7.6.gz

should be somewhere in sunsite.unc.edu,

I still have it, to play sdoom with full sound and music ;), since
the elf binary has no patch to support music.

You do realize that you can grab the Doom sources and recompile your own,
or don't you?

I did, there is sound support, then, but I was unable to listen the music
(it think is just a midi format)

I don't think it's midi, but there are a number of source ports which do play
music fine. One I can immediately think of is prboom (prboom.sf.net).
Google around for others.
