Hello,
I have a Sharp Actius MM10 "sub-notebook", on which I'm running kernel
2.4.21-rc1.
When I load the trident.o sound module, the lcd begins flashing blue
stripes continuously. I am not up to date on the current issues with
this driver, am I doing something wrong? could there be some sort of
hardware
conflict? or is it a kernel problem?
I have included the output of lspci...
Please CC me any responses.
Thanks,
-David

There aren't any outstanding issues that I know of, the driver has
been stable for a long time. Could you send the output of lspci -vvv?
Also, could you try it with trident built into the kernel?
Thanks,
Muli.

When I build it into the kernel it does the same thing, except on boot
up :/
When I tried using the alsa drivers (last night) the exact same thing
happend, I think it may be a hardware/memory conflict between the sound
card and the video, but I'm not sure.
