Subject: USB Scanner Problem

Hi,

Powering up my Epson USB scanner under 2.5.70, I got the following strange
output in dmesg:

hub 1-0:0: debounce: port 1: delay 100ms stable 4 status 0x101
hub 1-0:0: new USB device on port 1, assigned address 4
drivers/usb/image/scanner.c: USB scanner device (0x04b8/0x0110) now attached to @?^?@?^ʀ

See the end of the "now attached to message". It just doesn't look right.

Device is:

T: Bus=01 Lev=01 Prnt=01 Port=00 Cnt=01 Dev#= 4 Spd=12 MxCh= 0
D: Ver= 1.00 Cls=ff(vend.) Sub=ff Prot=ff MxPS=64 #Cfgs= 1
P: Vendor=04b8 ProdID=0110 Rev= 1.10
S: Manufacturer=EPSON
S: Product=EPSON Scanner
C:* #Ifs= 1 Cfg#= 1 Atr=c0 MxPwr= 2mA
I: If#= 0 Alt= 0 #EPs= 2 Cls=ff(vend.) Sub=ff Prot=ff Driver=usbscanner
E: Ad=81(I) Atr=02(Bulk) MxPS= 64 Ivl=0ms

Regards,
-Udo.

Should already be fixed in the latest -bk tree. If that doesn't fix it
for you, please let me know.
