With 2.4.23-pre3 the number of cpu's detected is two,
with 2.4.22 the number of cpu's detected is four.

Mandrake Linux release 9.2 (Cooker) for i586
Linux 2.4.23-pre2-jam1m (gcc 3.3.1 (Mandrake Linux 9.2 3.3.1-1mdk))
In both cases, build with ACPI and ACPI CPU only and
build with ACPI without ACPI CPU only, only two
processors are detected.
