Subject: 2.6.9-rc4 kernel crash

I tried out 2.6.9-rc4 on a P3-SMP machine and
it crashed during boot.

Appended is a screen photo which shows the last
words of this kernel on this machine.

On a newer P4-SMP no problems so far.
