I forgot to mention that the tracking of regressions from 2.6.36 is now closed
and the tracking of regressions from 2.6.38 is going to start after 2.6.39-rc1
has been released.
The meta-bug for the tracking of regressions from 2.6.38 is
https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=32012
Thanks,
Rafael

I just noticed this: the device is claimed by OHCI, then ~150 seconds later(!)
it disconnects and then gets claimed by EHCI, presumably while it's in use.

Probably what happened is that Ed unplugged the device after 150
seconds of non-operation, and then four seconds later plugged it into
an external high-speed hub.

The bug is still being actively investigated.

Have you tested with USB autosuspend disabled?

Yes. The problem is understood. It can be bypassed by doing a 'hciconfig -a', which
puts the device in a state where it works. As far as I know its not fixed yet.
See the thread: re "bluetooth disabled" and "[BUG] usb problems in .38-rc3+"

As of 2.6.38 I no longer have problems.

The log that was presented in the References link is a normal oom killer
log and would be typical if you exhausted 1GB of swap space. It correctly
kills the chrome process in the log provided, but other relevant portions
seem to have been snipped for futher diagnosis.
Mathias, could you please provide the entire oom killer output,
specifically the last time it was invoked (search for "invoked
oom\-killer" and paste everything after the last occurrence)?

Hey!
I've tested 2.6.38, which does not have this bug anymore.
