Hi,
I removed the reviewed tag by Krzysztof due to the changes below.
Best regards,
Ibrahim
changelog:
since v4:
- dt-binding: remove interrupt names.
- dt-binding: add description for "interrupts" property
- dt-binding: replace deprecated property "trickle-diode-disable"
by "aux-voltage-chargeable"
- dt-binding: add new property "adi,trickle-diode-enable"
- dt-binding: remove "wakeup-source"
- use clear_bit instead of __clear_bit
- use devm_of_clk_add_hw_provider instead of of_clk_add_provider
- use chip_desc pointer as driver data instead of enum.
since v3:
- add "break" to fix warning: unannotated fall-through
Reported-by: kernel test robot <[email protected]>
since v2:
- dt-binding: update title and description
- dt-binding: remove last example
- drop watchdog support
- support reading 12Hr format instead of forcing 24hr at probe time
- use "tm_year % 100" instead of range check
- refactor max313xx_init for readability

Drop, coming from rtc.yaml.

Use order like in example-schema, so required, allOf then
unevaluatedProperties: false.

This is too verbose, you can simply return -EINVAL here. dtbs_check will
report the invalid value.

There is no point having this property, simply use aux-voltage-chargeable.

Simply return 0, no string.

This still doesn't work, having a clock registered doesn't mean it is
used or muxed. Also, you want to always register it so it gets disabled
when it is not used.

What if you want alarm1 on INTA without any clkin? This doesn't seem to
be configured.

You still want to parse wakeup-source in case INTA/INTB is connected
directly to a PMIC for exemple.

I can't wrap my head around this. What is the point of registering a clock when the pin
is used for IRQ? What should the driver do if a user wants to enable clockout?
Wouldn't that cause continuous interrupts? Or should the driver simply don't care?
Same condition also applies for other RTCs that have two interrupt lines.
What is your comment on the default case below: "irq not possible when both clkin and clkout are configured"?

alarm1 interrupt is muxed into INTA/CLKIN pin by default.
So if clkin is not configured, no action needed since the clkin is already
disabled in "max313xx_clkin_init", alarm1 is muxed into INTA in that case.
