Subject: using Linux Device Drivers 3rd edition to learn developing modules for linux 2.4

Hi,

I have a copy of "Linux Device Drivers" 3rd Edition, I think it is
made for linux 2.6, but I have to make a module for linux 2.4, is it
suitable or should I get 2nd edition?

Regards

The second edition is available online:

http://www.xml.com/ldd/chapter/book/bookindexpdf.html

It covers the 2.4 kernel.
