Is there or will there will be support for the Matrox G550 as a
frambuffer in linux? Thanks.

Petr Vandrovec posted patches to linuxfb-devel a few weeks ago,
they seem to be working out fine for me in single and dual head mode.

I sent patches to Alan on Friday. I do not know whether he'll
apply them or not. But for using G550 you must download matroxset
from ftp://platan.vc.cvut.cz/pub/linux/matrox-latest, as if
you are connecting VGA monitor to card, you are on 90% using
secondary output...
