Subject: How can I fix errors and warnings in nvidia module for Tesla C1060

Hello,

I am trying to install driver of nvidia Tesla C1060 on x86 based
compute node of Rockcluster 5.1

But I am following errors and warnings:

make -f /usr/src/kernels/2.6.18-92.1.13.el5-i686/scripts/Makefile.build obj=

ERROR: Unable to load the kernel module 'nvidia.ko'. This happens most
frequently when this kernel module was built against the wrong or
improperly configured kernel sources, with a version of gcc that differs
from the one used to build the target kernel, or if a driver such as
rivafb/nvidiafb is present and prevents the NVIDIA kernel module from
obtaining ownership of the NVIDIA graphics device(s).

Please see the log entries 'Kernel module load error' and 'Kernel
messages' at the end of the file '/var/log/nvidia-installer.log' for
more information.

I am attaching complete log file for your reference.

I cannot see any source code for these modules. How can I fix these
error and warnings.

Thanks,

That's likely because the NVidia driver expects the arch asm headers to be in
include/linux .

According to the log you attached ("Kernel messages" section):

nvidia: module license 'NVIDIA' taints kernel.
NVRM: No NVIDIA graphics adapter found!

Are you sure you're using the correct driver ?

Nvidia Tesla C1060 has no output, so I was using intel motherboard
garphics, when I disable intel motherboard graphics adapter
installation processes able to find nvidia graphics adapter and build
the nvidia module.

But now I got another problem I use various git kernels trees, so I
need to build these modules for each kernel tree. And seems nvidia is
not disclosing the source code for Nvidia Telsa Series module :-(
