I don't see any PATCHv5 (with or without RESEND) for bq25150 and
lore does not see anything either:

That is most likely the issue. Sorry for the confusion, all. I am
setting one up now.

lore.kernel.org picks up any patches send to the mailing list. You
don't need an account. So basically the mailing list never received
the original v5 and I did not receive the mails directly either.

Ricardo, I would have a look at your local git mail setup. Possibly
test it with some demo target address under your control first.
