Subject: [PATCH 5.15 044/145] drm/nouveau/kms/nv50: fix nv50_wndw_new_ prototype

From: Jiri Slaby (SUSE) <[email protected]>

[ Upstream commit 3638a820c5c3b52f327cebb174fd4274bee08aa7 ]

gcc-13 warns about mismatching types for enums. That revealed switched
arguments of nv50_wndw_new_():
drivers/gpu/drm/nouveau/dispnv50/wndw.c:696:1: error: conflicting types for 'nv50_wndw_new_' due to enum/integer mismatch; have 'int(const struct nv50_wndw_func *, struct drm_device *, enum drm_plane_type, const char *, int, const u32 *, u32, enum nv50_disp_interlock_type, u32, struct nv50_wndw **)'
drivers/gpu/drm/nouveau/dispnv50/wndw.h:36:5: note: previous declaration of 'nv50_wndw_new_' with type 'int(const struct nv50_wndw_func *, struct drm_device *, enum drm_plane_type, const char *, int, const u32 *, enum nv50_disp_interlock_type, u32, u32, struct nv50_wndw **)'

It can be barely visible, but the declaration says about the parameters
in the middle:
enum nv50_disp_interlock_type,
u32 interlock_data,
u32 heads,

While the definition states differently:
u32 heads,
enum nv50_disp_interlock_type interlock_type,
u32 interlock_data,

Unify/fix the declaration to match the definition.

We're seeing PowerPC build failures like the following (GCC-8, GCC-12, Clang-16):

-----8<-----
In file included from /builds/linux/drivers/usb/host/ehci-hcd.c:1298:
/builds/linux/drivers/usb/host/ehci-ppc-of.c:122:13: error: use of undeclared identifier 'NO_IRQ'
if (irq == NO_IRQ) {
^
1 error generated.
----->8-----

Then, Perf fails on Arm and i386 with GCC-12:

-----8<-----
In function 'parse_events_term__num',
inlined from 'parse_events_multi_pmu_add' at util/parse-events.c:1687:9:
util/parse-events.c:3100:64: error: array subscript 'YYLTYPE[0]' is partly outside array bounds of 'char[4]' [-Werror=array-bounds]
3100 | .err_term = loc_term ? loc_term->first_column : 0,
| ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~^~~
util/parse-events.c: In function 'parse_events_multi_pmu_add':
util/parse-events.c:1678:39: note: object 'config' of size 4
1678 | char *config;
| ^~~~~~
cc1: all warnings being treated as errors
----->8-----

Greetings!

Successfully cross-compiled for arm64 (bcm2711_defconfig, GCC 10.2.0) and
powerpc (ps3_defconfig, GCC 12.2.0).

Will be fixed in -rc2

This is odd as this file isn't modified, but other build fixes for perf
for 5.15 were made. Let's see if this still happens in -rc2 and if so,
if you could bisect to track down the offending commit that would be
great.
