Subject: [PATCH v2 0/3] Add Actions Semi S500 pinctrl support

This patchset adds pinctrl support for Actions Semi S500 SoC.

Pinmux functions are only accessible for pin groups while pinconf
parameters are available for both pin groups and individual pins.

The pinctrl driver has been verified using RoseapplePi, the SBC for
which an initial support has been provided via:
https://lore.kernel.org/lkml/[email protected]/

The DTS related changes, including the required clock support, will be
available in the upcoming patch series.

Thanks,
Cristi

Changes in v2:
- Updated the pinctrl bindings according to Rob's feedback
- Set the pinctrl entry in MAINTAINERS according to Mani's suggestion
- Rebased patches on v5.8

Update the pinctrl binding entry to match all members of Actions Semi
Owl SoCs.

Changes in v2:
- Discarded the S500 specific pinctrl binding entry and instead use
a generic rule to match all members of Actions Semi Owl SoCs, per
Mani's suggestion
- Renamed patch to reflect the new changes, the original name was:
'Add pinctrl binding entry for Actions Semi'

Subject: [PATCH v2 2/3] pinctrl: actions: Add Actions S500 pinctrl driver

Add pinctrl and gpio driver for Actions Semi S500 SoC.

The driver supports pinctrl, pinmux, pinconf, gpio and interrupt
functions using a set of registers shared between gpio and pinctrl.

Hi Rob,

Thanks for reviewing!

I tried to drop the first occurrence of the indicated 'oneOf' nodes,
but I get the following error when checking the example:

actions,s500-pinctrl.example.dt.yaml: pinctrl@b01b0000: mmc0-pins:pinmux:groups:
Additional items are not allowed ('sd0_d1_mfp', 'sd0_d2_d3_mfp',
'sd0_cmd_mfp', 'sd0_clk_mfp' were unexpected)

It seems this only allows one value item to be provided:
groups = "sd0_d0_mfp";

instead of the required:
groups = "sd0_d0_mfp", "sd0_d1_mfp", "sd0_d2_d3_mfp",
"sd0_cmd_mfp", "sd0_clk_mfp";

Kind regards,
Cristi

No comments on the v2 patch set for more than 2 weeks so patches
applied. If people find issues we can make incremental
patches.
