Subject: [PATCH] ASoC: SOF: Disable pointless writes to debugfs file

The permissions on this debugfs file are 0444 so it can't be written to.
And writing to the file hasn't done anything since commit 6e9548cdb30e
("ASoC: SOF: Convert the generic IPC flood test into SOF client").
Delete the write function.

I haven't tested this patch and there is a risk that it breaks some of
the test scripts. Another option would be to just make it a dummy
function that does { return count; }. But I thought I would try the
better option first.

Please review this extra carefully.

Thanks!

[1/1] ASoC: SOF: Disable pointless writes to debugfs file
commit: 84ae7d9cfa5f6ec284efccedcb7baf7c075774d4

All being well this means that it will be integrated into the linux-next
tree (usually sometime in the next 24 hours) and sent to Linus during
the next merge window (or sooner if it is a bug fix), however if
problems are discovered then the patch may be dropped or reverted.

You may get further e-mails resulting from automated or manual testing
and review of the tree, please engage with people reporting problems and
send followup patches addressing any issues that are reported if needed.

If any updates are required or you are submitting further changes they
should be sent as incremental updates against current git, existing
patches will not be replaced.

Please add any relevant lists and maintainers to the CCs when replying
to this mail.

Thanks,
Mark

I agree, it is not used anymore and ...

This was not too constructive ;)
