and on and on, about 4000 lines or so. the computer is back up but the
file system is really messed up, with most files containing parts of
other files. is this a known problem? has it been fixed? if somebody
finds it useful i can make the whole log available on my web site.
right now i am running 2.4.2-pre3 but i am thinking of going back to
2.2.18.

sorry. intel piii, with an adaptec AHA-294X Ultra2 scsi adapter. the
disk in question is a 9gb IBM disk Model: DNES-309170W Rev: SA30. is
this what you need? do you need more?

Thanks. Added to my collection of data, doesnt tally with other corruption
reports (other aic7xxx reports with the older driver in the non-ac tree are
of the it doesnt work/hung variety)
