The BIOS listed is a new test BIOS that has a *corrected* APM that I
received this morning. I really want to take a second to thank the
people at Compal (BizCom) for the short turnaround once we figured out
who the right people were to talk to.
Once I get the OK from Compal (and finish testing), I'll post it to the
Tuxtops support site for all to download.

On the topic of APM, I have a supermicro P6DBE motherboard (SMP).
APM does not work because its not safe with SMP systems. What can I do to
get power management for this motherboard?

Run 2.4test and hope the vendor implements ACPI. In actualf act ona desktop
you'll get a lot of the power saving from the hlt loop and the screen
blanking
