Subject: APIC error on CPUx

Hello,

I just got the following message in syslog:
Jan 13 14:35:00 firelog kernel: APIC error on CPU1: 00(02)

And from what I saw in the source it seems to be something bad that
shouldn't happen. Could someone explain this?

I am using kernel 2.4.18-pre3 with the latest ext3 patch especially for
this release.

The hardware configuration would be:

Subject: Re: APIC error on CPUx (more)

I found in some older logs this too:

Jan 11 14:31:35 firelog kernel: APIC error on CPU0: 01(01)
Jan 11 14:31:35 firelog kernel: APIC error on CPU1: 02(02)

And this seems to be logged quite daily on this machine ..
