Subject: [PATCH v5 01/48] Input: introduce input_mt_report_slot_inactive

input_mt_report_slot_state() ignores the tool when the slot is closed.
which has caused a bit of confusion.
This patch introduces input_mt_report_slot_inactive() to report slot
inactive state.
replaces all input_mt_report_slot_state() with
input_mt_report_slot_inactive() in case of close of slot.

FYI, we noticed the following commit (built with gcc-7):

commit: 9290ec3cea1dd9d312d1230825a75c798b670ea1 ("[PATCH v5 01/48] Input: introduce input_mt_report_slot_inactive")
url: https://github.com/0day-ci/linux/commits/Jiada-Wang/atmel_mxt_ts-misc/20191108-190609
base: https://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kernel/git/xen/tip.git linux-next

in testcase: suspend_stress
with following parameters:

mode: mem
iterations: 10

on test machine: 8 threads KabyLake-r with 8G memory

caused below changes (please refer to attached dmesg/kmsg for entire log/backtrace):

If you fix the issue, kindly add following tag
Reported-by: kernel test robot <[email protected]>

test started

(then just like hang)
(below is what looks like if test can pass
SUSPEND RESUME TEST STARTED
Suspend to freeze 1/10:
...
Done
Sleep for 10 seconds
Suspend to freeze 2/10:
...
Suspend to freeze 10/10:
...
Sleep for 10 seconds
SUSPEND RESUME TEST SUCCESS)

To reproduce:

git clone https://github.com/intel/lkp-tests.git
cd lkp-tests
bin/lkp install job.yaml # job file is attached in this email
bin/lkp run job.yaml

Thanks.
