Subject: integrated IR receiver driver?

I have an hp dv8000 notebook. It says it has an integrated IR receiver.
Any clues whether there is a driver for it? I have not found any useful
technical info on it, nor found anything poking around in boot logs
or /proc/

Did you check Linux-IrDA project already?
